BV is reporting that Def Jam payed out an estimated $1,078,000 to create Rihanna's new hit "Man Down". The label spent $18,000 on a two week writting camp in L.A. that included paying for studio time for the writers, producers and studio engineers. Rock City, a writting duo based out of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, cleaned up niced receiving about $15,000 for writting the hit (which took them only 12 minutes do do btw). The producer earned $20,000. The Vocal producer, earned $15,000. The rest of the mili went to mixing, mastering and rolling out the album totalling up to the remaining $1,010,000. Wow. Add Comment Lil B sat down with MTV to discuss his new LP I'm Gay (now available on itunes). Lil B, also known as the Based God, tells MTV "Don't let a word make you discriminate upon another human being...Because at the end of the day no matter what you do, I should be happy for your because your alive.
